There are so many great places to get married on the Costa del Sol, but the most popular are definitely our beachfront venues. These venues are beautiful and the options for holding the ceremony actually on the sand and taking photos in the waves, really make them special.
The best of these venues have flexible inside and outside space and picturesque areas for different parts of the wedding day. They are also experienced in catering for large groups and have done hundreds of weddings so you know they will take your special day in their stride.
We’re lucky on the Costa del Sol to have hundreds of great venues which specialise in weddings, many of which are right on the beach. However a lot of our brides get a little overwhelmed by the choice, so to help I wanted to show you my favourite beachfront wedding venues in different areas of the Costa del Sol. Family Run Chiringuito Elviria
This stunning, traditional, rustic chiringuito (beach restaurant) is located on one of the best stretches of beach on the whole of the Costa del Sol and has been delighting guests for over 35 years with their traditional Spanish food, wonderful hospitality and gorgeous setting. We love this venue for weddings as the ceremony takes place right on the sand, with the sounds and smells of the sea. The interior space is highly flexible and looks beautiful dressed for a wedding banquet and they can set up special areas for you, depending what you’re looking for. They have a lot of experience in catering for weddings and the team are charming and delighted to be part of your special day.
Stylish Beachfront Restaurant and Event Venue Estepona
This is a unique beachfront venue with an ethnic design including a thatched roof and flexible spaces which make it really easy to arrange a wedding there. It has wonderful outside space including a lawn area which is stunning for the ceremony itself and meals can be located on the terrace area or inside their large dining room. There’s plenty of room here for everything so they can accommodate large groups and you can dance until you drop. The food is great and the team are highly experienced at catering large groups so you can just relax and enjoy yourself!
Luxury Beach Club Venue Marbella
If you’re looking for an elegant, luxurious wedding, we recommend this 5* beach club near to Marbella. Right by the sea with panoramic views, but away from the sand for modern design features and practicality, it’s a great choice. There are a variety of spaces for welcome drinks, the ceremony, meal and dancing, including around the stunning pool, which is a real favourite. The 5* service and style will appeal to the most discerning brides and grooms and as it is attached to a luxury hotel, it is very convenient for the wedding party.
Cool and Relaxed Beach Restaurant Estepona
This gorgeous beach restaurant between Estepona and San Pedro is a great choice for couples looking for a laid back, yet stylish wedding with the ceremony taking place right on the sand. In addition to the beach, there are a number of great spaces to use including an indoor restaurant area, a large terrace, a roof terrace, a beach lounge and even a spa. The white umbrellas and bare wood give a real boho chic feel and the team can work with your needs to create the perfect wedding venue.
Luxurious and Funky Beach Club Venue Estepona
This cool beach club with stunning pool, outdoor and indoor bar and restaurant, Balinese beds right on the beach, a spa and even a kids zone is a great location for a picture perfect wedding. There’s a lot of flexibility with how you want your wedding to be, plus incredible views of Gibraltar and Africa. Their events team are slick and highly experienced at putting on amazing weddings and they have a delicious menu of international food including sushi.
Beachfront Hotel, Restaurant and Gardens Fuengirola
Catering for weddings for up to 120 guests, this venue gives a great combination of options, including hotel accommodation, a garden and three dining areas. There’s a stunning waterfront terrace and it’s right by the beach for photography. The hotel has 40 beautiful rooms, as well as 15 self-catering apartments perfect for guests with children. The venue serves fine-dining cuisine and the terrace with private pool and pool bar is a great place for a very special ceremony and meal.
